 City Council Meeting February 6, 2024 We heard from Elections Supervisor Joseph Kirk, who appeared before council to dispel a rumor that had been formed on social media that Euharlee's Voting precinct would be moved to the city of Adairsville. This was a vicious rumor started to stir up animosity toward the City Council or the Elections board. Either way the rumor is completely a lie and would be illegal if the board even wanted to do something so crazy. 1. Loving Arm Cancer outreach gave a financial report to the City of funds they raised during the Festival of Trees. They raised over $21,000. 2. We had the 2nd reading of both the no modular homes in R-1 and an Adult Entertainment ordinance and both passed unanimously. 5. We accepted the P&Z recommendation to appoint Jim Thibault to the P&Z. 6. John Winnenberg presented 2 projects that were both approved. One was repaving in Hunter's Landing.
